Ore Pier. Sight


The main local sights are kekura Two Brothers and the beacon constructed in the early fifties that it is located on Brynner's cape covering an entrance to tiny port. To get to them, it is necessary, without reaching Ore Pier, to turn to the right, to the small settlement of the Bow located on the bank of Vaskovskoye's lake.

Brynner's cape represents the two-headed rock, on smaller of tops of which the beacon is erected. From the second, higher top the magnificent view on the bay Ore, the settlement, and also the coast to the North from it opens. However, it isn't so simple to get there — for this purpose it is necessary to pass across the region of steep break by height in several tens meters. Kekura Two Brothers who became famous all over the country thanking not denominated note of 1000 rubles, are located on some removal from the coast. However, similar stone columns are in many places on the coast — the coast to the North from Ore Pier abounds with steep breaks and abrupt rocks which collapse sea waves throughout the millennia.

In the settlement. The ore Pier was terminal station of the Dalnegorsk narrow-gage railroad.
