Biography
Julius Josef Brynner was born in 1849 in the community La Roche located in 30 miles to the southeast from Geneva (Switzerland) in a family of Lutheran Germans. The childhood was spent in a community by Myoriken, Argau's canton.
I was engaged in trade in silk in Shanghai. Having become the co-owner of trading steamship company with branches in the Far East, Yuli Brynner moves to Vladivostok.
In the eighties the 19th century Brynner and To organizes the company, with participation of the English and German equity, "A trading house". In 1890 Brynner becomes the Russian citizen. In 1891 Yuli Brynner together with the merchant of the II guild Andrey Nikolaevich Kuznetsov has founded the new company "Brynner, Kuznetsov and To" which was engaged in stividorsky works in port, storage of freights in warehouses and their sending.
The "Brynner, Kuznetsov and To" company was also engaged in land transactions in Vladivostok, having built several houses which have become decoration of the city.
In 1908 Brynner begins lesorazrabotka on Sakhalin and development of zinc-lead mines in the Olginsky County, in 1909 as a result of the contract between the house "Brynner and To" and the German firm "Girsh and Son" is created "Joint-stock mining company of Tetyukhi".
Yuli Brynner was also a founder of Ussuriysk mining joint-stock company and the member of the committee on organization of Bank for Trade and Industry of Siberia. Since 1914 I owned Mongugaysky coal mines on the bank of Amur Bay.
On March 10, 1920 Yuli Brynner has died and has been buried in a family crypt in the village of Sidimi (nowadays by Bezverkhovo).
In 1930 Tetyukhe have received the status of the working settlement. By 1941 the Sikhote-Alinsky polymetallic combine represented already difficult entity with the finished tin production cycle. In 1965 the Seaside mining chemical combine renamed subsequently into Bor production association has opened.
In 1972 it is renamed into Dalnegorsk within campaign for renaming of the Soviet settlements having the Chinese names.
The status of the city is given in 1979. In 1997 the Dalnegorsk area has been abolished, its territory has departed in management of the City Council, and Dalnegorsk becomes the city of regional value.
