Dalnegorsk — the city in Primorsky Krai Russia. Administrative center of the Dalnegorsk city district.
It is included in the list of monotowns of the Russian Federation with the most difficult economic and social situation.
The city-forming entities — "Bor" and "Dalpolimetall". It is founded in 1897 as the settlement of Tetyukhe, the city — since 1979.
Geography
Dalnegorsk is removed from Vladivostok on 535 km, is the most east, the most mountainous (180 — 804 meters above sea level) the city in Primorye. It is located in east spurs of mountain System Sikhote-Alin, in the valley of the river Ore, in 35 km from the coast of the Sea of Japan. Extent of city line within the valley — 16 km, width is from 0,2 to 1,5 km. Glavnaya Street — 50 let Oktyabrya Avenue, has numbers of houses on 324 inclusive. Ore the city is divided by narrowings of the valley of the river into three residential districts (from top to down on the valley) — Burnt, the Center, the Humpback salmon (Gorky). Some streets on which the private sector is located were stretched on raspadka and on slopes of hills.
Despite the high level of industrialization of Dalnegorsk, more than 90% of the territory which is under city department are covered coniferous (mainly by cedar) and the mixed broad-leaved woods admiring fans of natural tourism.
