Dalnegorsk, river Ore
Ore — the river in Primorsky Krai Russia, second-large in Dalnegorsk the city district.
Till 1972 — Tetyukhe's river. The river has received the modern name in 1972, during campaign for renaming of place names of the Chinese origin widespread at that time. The name Ore owed reflect the most important lines of the nature and economy of the adjacent territory. In the decades which have passed since then the name has taken roots. Despite some banality, the name precisely reflects the main feature of the area — availability of the largest fields of polymetallic ores which production is conducted here the second century. The previous name Ore — river of Tetyukhe. This Chinese phrase of Zhou Zhu distorted and simplified by Russians хэ that is translated as "The valley of wild boars". There are also other, less widespread versions of the Chinese name. Before appearance of Chinese, at indigenous people the river was called Nogule. From jargons, in oral speech and at forums the name of "Rudyakh" meets.
