Hankaysky municipal district – the administrative formation of Primorsky Krai located in the northwest of the region. The district center is the settlement of Kamen-Rybolov. The area has overland and water borders. The last pass across the Lake Khanka. The municipality adjoins to the territories of Boundary and Horolsky districts, and also to China. The territory occupied by Hankaysky district constitutes 2 689 square kilometers on which the population, numbering slightly more than 24 500 people lives. Vinokurk's mountain which height reaches 783 meters is considered the highest point of edge. Climatic conditions have sharp continental character.

The modern history of edge begins from 1865th year, with resettlement of the Russian Cossacks here.

Hankaysky municipality – the agrarian area which is in the lead in the region on the developed agricultural products. The main directions – vegetable growing and cattle breeding. It is much grown up soy and rice cultures. The industry is developed poorly that does all grown-up products environmentally friendly, meeting all quality standards.

In the area a set of natural sights among which there is a gorge of the river Komissarovka and the Hankaysky reserve. The gorge as a vice is clamped by two rocks which carry the name "Cheeks". The blossoming Labrador tea does these places just unforgettable.
